When you watch this video REMEMBER...this was Sarah Palin's church for nearly her entire life.
The man with in the leather jacket donning a goatee was Sarah Palin's pastor from 1999 till 2002.
She continues to have close ties to this church and is involved with workshops there.

OK, I bit, and watched the video. I find nothing at all remarkable, or offensive, about it. There was no hateful language. It' simply a promotion of some upcoming training. Big deal.
So I don't see why TPM would post the video.

I've just realized this in the last couple days myself. This is part of the reason I'm surprised that no big-time bloggers are not posting this video along side the widely posted one of Palin addressing one of these Masters Commissions.
Are they just not connecting the dots? I've written TPM, Sullivan and others many times about this and get no reply or reaction.
I don't agree with commenter Chris Brown at all. Sarah Palin's religious background is extreme, and this video helps illustrate this.
She make Bush look like an Episcopalian.

If you want to give the McCain campaign a gift then beat up Palin for her religious beliefs.
There are many millions of Pentecostals in the nation. Though you and/or I may find their beliefs of no use in our lives, if their beliefs help them get through the day, more power to 'em.
It is a mistake to attack Plain for her religious beliefs. Actually, it is just another form of bigotry.

Don't see a reason to give this play. A church dramatizing their recruitment program... I am and american. I am not a christian and I definitely do not support the christianization of our government, country, schools, military, etc. But this video is just a sensationalist way of trying to recruit people to become recruiters etc... I really don't want to bring attention to it.

Or when voice over talked about "God's plan for Alaska, the United States and the entire world" as the animation showed an enraptured and inflamed planet earth.
Do you think this "plan" stops at the spiritual life of private individuals?

"Pastor Kalnins has also preached that critics of President Bush will be banished to hell; questioned whether people who voted for Sen. John Kerry in 2004 would be accepted to heaven; charged that the 9/11 terrorist attacks and war in Iraq were part of a war "contending for your faith;" and said that Jesus "operated from that position of war mode."
Look, Wassilla Assembly of God as well as Palin's current church in Junea are Pentecostal Evangelical churches. She's spent nearly her entire life in Pentecostal churches.
Pentecostals definitely do believe in and support "the christianization of our government, country, schools, military, etc."

Setting aside the extreme views, it shows why she is being kept from the media. Without coaching and practice she is a poor speaker.
