Yo, Chicken Littles. It's Chess, not Checkers
Calm the f*ck down people! Obama and his people are playin chess here, not checkers. They've gotta let the shine wear off of Sister Sarah a bit before they expose her lies and hypocrisy. When they do this bounce in the polls the Repubs are enjoying will fade fast and Obama will regain a slight lead in the polls. Every minute we spend fretting over Wolfmother we're playing into the neoCons hands. O knows this and is not gonna take the bait. His folks are no doubt digging up plenty on Hockey Mom#1 and when the time is right they'll provide the dirt to the MSM if they haven't stumbled onto it themselves. Remember, it's McCain we've got to defeat, not his Lipstick Fascist running mate. Very few people vote for a VP,and those who'd be swayed by this reckless pick would never vote for O anyway. Focus folks, double down on donations' canvassing, calling and the dreaded "organizing". Keep your eyes on the prize and your spirits up, we'll win this one. Trust Obama's game, he's playin Chess, not checkers. Yes We Can!

Agreed. Calm down. We'll have better polling at the end of the week. A bounce is a bounce.
Here's something to cheer everyone up.

old chess adage:
Play your opponent not the board
Karl Rove is our opponent (any debate who won the last 8 years?)
His board is the 'elections'.
Our opponent believes that the most effective strategy is to attack your opponents 'strengths'.
new American adage:
The 'Story' = 'Information Management'
or 'Information management as a function of story telling'
The 'Story' is the strength of the McCain/Palin campaign. Sarah Palin is the 'Story' ( seen Palin/McCain lately?). As you have no doubt noticed, it is not about facts or policies.
old chinese adage:
Every battle is won before it is ever fought.
Everything the Republicans have done to date is to protect their 'Story'. If their 'Story' fails so will their campaign. They know this, and will fight fiercely to stop that from happening.
attack[sic] their strengths if we are to have any hope of winning, play your opponent not the board!
All that is solid melts into air...
