Anybody know what happened to Eric Stepp?
I have noticed that the TPM Cafe schism site run by Cafe member Eric Stepp, Project Lucidity, is gone. Just wondering if anyone knows what's up.

I found myself no longer going there, as it felt pointless. That it failed to achieve more connection to a wider community, or more vibility in general, meant it was just a few old-timers chatting. Activity slowed to a crawl.
Were you there recently, before he shut it down?

Yes. He and his partner had a baby. He is focused on family for the time being.
Wish I knew the name and sex of the child. But he sent out an email prior to closing down his site. The new arrival was the reason. Apparently it also affected his income.
I suspect we'll hear from him again.

Eric and his partner had a baby girl, although I cannot remember her name, and the internet archives cache of the site only goes to Feb-08, so I am unable to extract it from there.
I am surprised he hasn't shown up around here though.
