Did White House threaten congress?

How did Congress decide to pass legislation when 80-90% of its constituent feedback was negative?

Congressman Sherman says they were threatened with martial law.  Please watch:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HaG9d_4zij8

Despite the desperate requests from military commanders in Afghanistan for more troops, the administration has  deployed an entire brigade in the US for crowd control.
They have quietly squashed long establsihed precedent (posse comitatus) that prohibits use of  American military against  our own citizens, and can use troops in conjunctiion with "national emergency" provisions in the Patriot Act (of course) to declare martial law.  What do you suppose would happen if something unfortunate were to happen to a political candidate?

Hopefully, since they have gutted our the wealth of our country and hosed another 900 billion (that we dont even have) at their pals, they will now go quietly....

Wow... Good find!

I really don't know what to say... that's an astounding admission.

The REAL test for Congress is whether they will immediately impeach Bush if he orders an attack on Iran before he leaves office.
