Sean,
McCain just makes up stuff to defend what ever stand he has taken on a given day. When he made the $50.00 per hour remark, he was doing so to defend his stand on migrant workers.
When he started bragging on how great American workers are, he was trying to persuade people that is what he meant when he said: "the fundamentals of the economy are strong".
McCain has no core principles or values. That is why he just teeters from one expedient lie to another.
That is why he is The Original Mav-Erratic.

You're over thinking the matter. As time passes I am more and more convinced that not only is McCain a very incurious person, but also that his hinges are giving way.
The guy will say anything to get elected and is not the least bit concerned about a consistent message.

I understand this Chris, but I think that Obama could use this to bring the topic back to the Economy when McCain starts this suprise stuff...
I guess I am over thinking it. Seems not many think this is a good idea.....Thanks for some feedback..
