Sat/Sun 2nd Chance Clearinghouse For Posts That Deserve Another Look- Updated Daily
This post is a clearing house for links to posts that flew by too fast,
or didn't get the attention they deserved, or were too good to go away
even if they made it to reader rec.
If you add a link, please give a brief description along w/ your reasons for why it deserves a 2nd look. ANYONE can add a link here.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE stop by everyday to rec this post, even if you don't add anything, or
read anything on it...It only works if it gets up to reader rec, thus making the posts available for longer.
If it BARELY makes Reader rec, it gets kicked off early. This is a GREAT tool, but if we don't use it, we lose it.
We are adding a new feature...Each day's post will have a link to the post for the day before, so it will be easier to keep up!

Oh what the heck - since this post is in the Top Ten, and nobody's put a link in it, let me plug mine.
Since standard economic-talk is notoriously boring, I thought I'd write a Hendrix-sodden piece, to get at one aspect of the problem. The Comments which followed, though, were quite practical & useful, I thought. Root cellars & community gardens, plug-in hybrids & electric heaters, flying stockbrokers and wealth taxes, health care & heat pumps - why, it had it all! We even had some Pogues links, and a couple of debates with complete assholes (that's "with" not "between.") Who could ask for more!

I'm placing this link here, as it's a post that was requested at emptywheel Friday night. And it accidentally posted here in the main site, when I was really trying the beta site. But Karma works in strange ways. And I'm assuming this needs to get a wider readership, so here goes:

Donal has an awesome link to the more large-scale views of our current trends:

Please recommend this post... it is far more valuable than several of the blogs currently on the "list" and deserves attention.
