Rec Lists Should be Fixed Now
Thanks everyone who has pointed out the problems with most recommended lists. They should be fixed. Let me know if you're still seeing problems, and I'll address ASAP. Note: for best results, select ONE category when you post, and it should show up both on the master rec list on cafe, and the rec list on the page you categorized it. I'm still testing whether uncategorized posts will show up anywhere, but for now I suggest picking a category. Thanks!

The Cafe is fixed. EC is not fixed!!! There were several posts which dropped off that list, and should still be there. They didn't come back at EC.
Here's mine and you can see many more recs than the top of the EC list:

what do you mean 'the only category'? Were those posts categorized EC?

If I go to "blog now" and check my list of entries, Yes, my blog that isn't up - but has 18 recs (the one I referenced above) says EC.
And the "helpful hints blog" has totally disappeared from the Cafe Rec List - where it was briefly at the top.
Mind you, it's not that I have to be "on the list." It's that the list function is broken in terms of most rec'd blogs.

Looks to me like the broken EC rec list is now the broken Cafe rec list as well. Duplicate broken lists!

Ok. Not total duplicates. Some have the same blogs. But both are broken, in that blogs that should be on them, near the top, are not there at all.

The community post was on the rec list, but now it has disappeared. There are several posts up there that have NO rec's.
The archives from EC are still screwed up.

It seems like new posts aren't showing up on the Cafe Recent Reader Posts lists either. My dash shows me this blog, posted at 11:21 AM,

Al, here is the link for the community post. It was posted only on EC and had 12 recs when it got bounced last night, and hasn't shown up since.

It shows up on the EC page, but if you hit recent reader posts it kicks over to the "all reader posts" page, and it isn't listed in the rec's there. The lowest one there has only 4 rec's...Is that the way it should be? Or should I be posting that community post to all sections?

huh, i see that now. that is the same code as the one used on the front page of cafe (which IS working), so i'm trying to troubleshoot. thanks for spotting.
