Disabled veteran speaks in stunning ad

From Alex Koppelman in Salon's War Room, this political ad. Easily the most powerful one I can recall seeing at anytime in recent past.

Seeing this man say 'thank you' after all that he has gone through made me cry big time...

I lost my composure as well, Synchronicity. A truly devastating advertisement for the GOP & their pro-war acolytes.

I've taken the liberty of doing my small part in hopes of making this go viral. Specifically, sent to my 19 yr old fiercely anti-war daughter - with knowledge that she is very likely to spread the ad further via her social & college networks.

We're talking about a young woman who used to set up a card table opposite military recruiters on her high school campus back in the day. She's seen entirely too goddamn many of her friends & peers enlist out of financial desperation - and return from the wars all messed-up.

My darling progeny, and literally millions just like her, are the reason I can sleep at night. No way in hell they're going to fail to turn out to vote in this election. They are pissed-off.

Coralsea:
Thank you, particularly when your own energy has recently been tested, for drawing attention to this young man and the personal cost he has paid, and will continue to pay, in aid of the Bush Doctrine that Sarah Paline cannot define. Maybe she should watch this video.
Thanks, too, to your daughter, and her network that may make the pivotal difference.
