You object to being called a Clinton hater. I think the label "hater" tends to get thrown around much more than appropriate. If you don't think Obama's selection of Clinton as SOS was "brilliant", you're a Hillary hater. If you don't want Biden asking you to help retire Clinton debt, you're a hater, as well. But your post seems entirely focused on Hillary Clinton, rather than the more general principle you adhere to. If you had mentioned that you would respond this way to any request to retire debt, your argument might have been clearer.

This: Obama wouldn't have my email address to begin with if I didn't give him money to help defeat Hillary takes away from your argument, because it sounds as if Hillary Clinton was the only reason you donated to Obama--and that's not what your original post seems to suggest.

Perhaps that's because of the many posts on Clinton and the lack of any posts on Kucinich?

I was just thinking that this is the perfect example to use with students to illustrate how individual votes do, of course, matter!

I have to say, though, that I'm glad I wasn't aware of TPM in December 2000, because this degree of detail about the recount would have driven me insane or into deep despair, or both.
