Vote Joe Lieberman on or Off the Island/ (and irate comments about Sarah Palin's knowledge)

Joe wants back in.  He now respects Barack Obama; the same man who he formerly said did not "put country first."  I won't go over the many quotes, but will he get away with this?  I personally believe that Lieberman was perfectly within his rights to back whomever he thought was the best person (including that BEST PERSON's choice for VEEP).   But once the worm turned, ol' Joe is trying to save himself from himself.

I'm glad that Joe now "respects Barack Obama."  However, if he is allowed to keep his standing in the Democratic Party (which he HAD to leave because he lost the Connecticut primary) it sends a very bad message to the future ZellMiller/JoeLiebermans of the Dem party:  You can get away with anything!

Joe thought he had it covered either way because Dems are so forgiving (not like the republicans, who screwed John McCain for not being a true believer [ask Dick Cheney and Ms Perino why they timed their effusive praises for the last minute].

Joe Lieberman should just twist in the wind.  He is a man without party -- the Dem's shouldn't welcome him, and the repubs will only use him to filibuster.  Maybe he can actually make a decision based on what he thinks is right.  WHAT A CONCEPT!  Something he isn't used to.

Also, this is a free thread on Sarah Palin's basic lack of knowledge.  She shows an utter lack of curiosity and education.  No wonder she doesn't educate her own children.  The oldest two are high school drop-outs; the others haven't gone to school so far this year.  Please don't tell me this ignorant woman is home-schooling them!

Bio

The first thing I did when I turned 16 was go out and apply for a passport. I've travelled widely, and lived in Europe for a while. I have 3 children; 23 (girl) 19 (boy twins), and after staying home with them for 17 years, I went back to nursing 3 years ago. It was hard to find someone to hire me, but I am in a wonderful office (infertility, ivf, etc) and work with great people.
