Pitching Woo? LOL - I haven't heard that one in ages.
Merle Haggard, the fellow who wrote and popularized this song endorsed Hillary, way back, when. I don't know for sure that he's ever publicly crossed over to Obama, but it does seem like he has spoken out about the Iraq War.
Otherwise, if you're in the market for an answer, back when "Okie" dominated the airwaves, somebody recorded a reply ("Hippie from Olema"). Unfortunately, I can't quickly find a video of them performing the song, but I did run across this cover by a guy videoing himself with an acoustic guitar.
Favorite Books Nixonland, Truman, American Sphinx: The Character of Thomas Jefferson, Salt, The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt, Theodore Rex,
Favorite Quotes “I will exercise an independence of judgment on the basis of facts and evidence as I find them on each issue. I will weigh the views of my constituents and my party, but cast my vote free of political pressure and unmoved by threats of loss of political support if I do not do the bidding of some pressure group.”
Wayne Morse, Oregon Senator
