http://www.financialpost.com/story.html?id=975811

This article also helps break it down:
http://useconomy.about.com/b/2008/11/20/deflation-greatest-threat-to-us-economy-right-now.htm

Energy costs are dropping, as are home prices. We are experiencing it already. The question is: does it go across the board?

I've noticed it already with my father's business: he is a beef farmer, prices have gone down and will probably continue to go down (after a possible bump from the holiday season- fingers-crossed). He is receiving less profit on his turn around from buying feeder cattle, rasing them, and then selling them when they are full grown and ready for steak, etc.

In other news my uncle has lost 40% of his retirement funds in the last 3 months, now he'll stay in his job for years, and nobody will move on up. Meanwhile, the same thing happens across the nation. I will probably end up working on my dad's farm again, one cum laude Bachelor's degree and five years later after searching for a steady job.

Yep, it sure caught my eye. I was pretty neutral, though leaning against Clinton, on the whole matter. Mainly, because Richardson seems like a no-brainer to me. Anyways, after reading that article it really put a pit in my stomach and any neutrality has been swept away. I'm content to let Bill be in the past and anything Hill did as First Lady as well. The fact that Senator Clinton is ignoring her constituents on human rights issues is very disturbing. A cautionary tale, indeed.
